Why We Walk: Alzheimer’s affects 1 in 3 people in the communities where we work and live and kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. We walk to help raise funds that will fight Alzheimer’s disease through vital research, advocacy efforts and essential support programs and services in communities across the US. Mohawk Group believes that through partnership and community, we can give those affected by Alzheimer’s a fighting chance, as well as honor those who those we’ve lost along the way because we are Better Together.
