Raise your voice — tell Congress to act today.

Congress can connect scientists to dementia research funding

To accelerate progress against Alzheimer’s and other degenerative diseases, Congress must increase investments in research and dementia care infrastructure. Expanding funding will drive innovation in treatment, early detection and prevention. Tell your members of Congress to make research a priority.

Take Action

Congress can connect patients to an early and accurate dementia diagnosis

An early and accurate dementia diagnosis can improve the quality of life and reduce the financial impact of the disease. Yet as many as half of the over 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s are not formally diagnosed. The bipartisan Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act would create a pathway for Medicare coverage of FDA-approved dementia blood biomarker screening tests, accelerating access to blood tests and earlier detection of Alzheimer’s and other dementia.

Act Now

Congress can connect individuals to a prepared workforce

Primary care providers are the first stop for many people who are concerned with their cognitive abilities, but they’re not prepared. Ask Congress to support the AADAPT Act to accelerate dementia workforce preparedness in communities throughout the nation.
