Development - VP of Development

The Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter seeks a transformational development leader with passion for achieving goals through building key stakeholder relationships at all levels.  To join our team and cause a candidate must be compassionate, focused and unrelenting.

As Alzheimer's is one of the fastest growing causes, the candidate must possess a vision to lead and inspire others to achieve a successful development program through relationship building and strategic planning that grows the mission.  One must have a strong background in peer-to-peer fundraising events as he/she will oversee the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, The Longest Day®, and Reason to Hope.  Other areas of development responsibilities include memorials, grants, major gifts, workplace giving, annual appeal and corporate outreach in addition to managing development staff.  Experience with corporate relations will be strongly preferred.

The National Alzheimer's Association recognized our chapter for excellence in achieving strategic and development goals.  The Miami Valley chapter leads the national network in per capita revenue for events and locally, our Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is a leading regional fundraiser.  Given the chapter’s revenue has doubled in the last four years, the new VP of development will lead an organization with great momentum and will provide transformational vision for future growth to achieve our mission of eliminating the disease and enhancing and providing care and support.
