Provide help and hope this holiday season

Amplify Your Voice by making a gift this season

Dear friend,

As an advocate your voice has brought positive change to those living with Alzheimer’s disease. By speaking up you've provided help and hope to all those affected.

This season, let us AMPLIFY your voice.

Three generous donors, Ron and Betty Profili of California, Marilyn Carstens of Illinois and an anonymous Michigan donor, will match any holiday gift you make to the Alzheimer’s Association by December 31, up to a total of $400,000.

Thanks to their support, your donation of $50 can double in value and become $100, and $100 can double to $200. In short, we can turn up the volume and improve the lives of people with Alzheimer's.

Your donation will strengthen our mission to:

  • Eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research
  • Provide and enhance care and support for all affected
  • Reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health

Please help make the most of this significant opportunity. Donate today.

Many thanks,

Robert Egge
Vice President, Public Policy
Alzheimer’s Association

P.S. Contributions made by December 31 will be tax-deductible on your 2011 return. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a year-end gift that can go twice as far to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

Holidays Can Take a Toll

The holidays can be challenging when you’re living with Alzheimer’s disease, as this recent Facebook posting shows. With your help, we can continue to assist families who need services and support.

My mum is 65 with Alzheimer’s
(4 years) and is the heart of our family. The saddest thing is she knows what is happening and tries to be positive for her family. It is breaking my heart. This Christmas, we are pulling out all stops to make it the best ever, as this might be the last with her aware.
