Alzheimer's Association. The Brains Behind Saving Yours.
We have one year to convince presidential candidates to make Alzheimer’s disease a priority.

Dear Friend,

We are one year away from an election that has the potential to change the trajectory of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Please sign this petition and urge presidential candidates to address the Alzheimer's epidemic.

We need to make dramatic progress in the coming years to achieve the Alzheimer's Association vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease, and to do so the next president must make Alzheimer's care, support and research a priority.

Alzheimer's is a fatal disease with no survivors. More than 5 million Americans currently live with the disease, and that number is expected to rise to 7.1 million by 2025. As America's most expensive disease, nearly one out of every five Medicare dollars is spent on Alzheimer's and other dementias.

I urge the next president to:

Formally address the Alzheimer's disease crisis.

Encourage his or her party to make Alzheimer's a critical issue in their platform.

Build upon the National Plan to Address Alzheimer's Disease and grow or initiate state Alzheimer's plans.

The next president must take a stand in the fight against Alzheimer's. Sign the petition today.

Sincerely,
John Funderburk
