Cedar Rapids, IA, May 18th- Over 120 golfers came together to support the Alzheimer’s Association East Central Iowa Chapter at the Cedar Rapids Country Club on Monday, May 18^th for the Alzheimer’s Association Round to Remember™ Golf Classic. The event raised nearly $55,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association East Central Iowa Chapter. Funds raised at the golf event will fund Alzheimer research, education, support and advocacy.

Participants enjoyed a sit down, grill-out style luncheon, followed by a short introduction from Event Chairman, Bob Vancura, and Board President, Debbie Jones. Golfers teed off with a shot-gun start at 12:30. Following their 18 holes, golfers gathered for a short award reception. Generous donors from the area provided gifts for door prizes while the flight and flag event winners were announced. Also, Tim Kintner was drawn as the winner of the Round to Remember Raffle, receiving the $1000 cash prize.
