Elmcrest Country Club to Host Pro-Am Tennis Tournament to Benefit Alzheimer's Association
Cedar Rapids, July 18, 2008 – Elmcrest Country Club in Cedar Rapids is set to host their annual Tennis Pro-Am Tournament on Friday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 24th.
Proceeds from the three-day event will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association East Central Iowa Chapter. “We are so grateful to the Elmcrest staff and members for designating the event proceeds on our behalf,” said the Associations executive director, Kelly Hauer. “The Elmcrest Tennis Pro-Am is one of the most unique sporting events in Eastern Iowa and we hope that the community will turn out on one or all three days to witness some incredible tennis play while helping the Alzheimer’s Association move its cause forward.”
Tickets to the Pro-Am opening night event are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and entitles purchaser to food and beverages during the entire evening. Tickets may be purchased at the Alzheimer’s Association Chapter office or the Elmcrest Tennis Office.
