Alzheimer’s Association Offers Early Stage Support Group
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, August 14 – The Alzheimer’s Association East Central Iowa Chapter is pleased to announce the development of an Early Stage Support Group in Johnson County for individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias and their carepartners.
The Early Stage Support Group will offer information, emotional support, and socialization among peers who face similar circumstances. This group can also encourage open communication between persons with dementia and their loved one regarding emotional and practical issues.
