Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity adopted the Alzheimer's Association as an official philanthropy in 2001, funding innovative Alzheimer's research in honor of fellow TKE Ronald Reagan. The Reagan Run is five-mile relay race that all TKE chapters and colonies are encouraged to hold as their annual philanthropy. The run was started by The Beta Mu chapter at Bucknell University.
