Changing Gears

Changing Gears is an education program built for individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. this eight-week course provides insight about Alzheimer's disease as well as offering a view of what the future will hold allowing individuals and their families to prepare. The course meets weekly and serves as a prerequisite before participants can move into many of the other early stage programs. The program allows people to become familiar with the disease and its progression, build valuable friendships and allow people to get to know the Alzheimer's Association.

A special screening is necessary to be placed in the Changing Gears Program. To learn  more, call 214.540.2419.
