About the Conference

AAIC Satellite Symposium convened the dementia science community in Africa. Leaders in the field from across Africa met to discuss how advances in public health, diagnosis and treatment can be applied within the region.

This meeting is part of the year-round learning opportunities offered by the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference® (AAIC®) and is hosted in collaboration with the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health.

All were invited to submit abstracts on the latest findings in dementia research. Areas of interest included:
