Host a party or another fun event
Get your friends, family and co-workers together for a good cause. Host a fundraising and awareness party to help fight Alzheimer's disease.
Make it a simple affair with wine and cheese, or go all out with a theme dinner party. Ask guests to make a donation instead of bringing a hostess gift. Leave a donation bucket at the door. Or you can even start up your computer and have guests donate online at alz.org.
The party scene is not your thing? There are many other great events you can host to show your support for the cause to end Alzheimer's disease.
Here's what to do:
1) Pick your event
Host a party, organize a golf foursome, hold a dart tournament or share at your wedding.
2) Register your party online and receive a free party kit
Pledge to raise $150 or more and get a free party kit that includes cocktail napkins, thank-you cards, donation forms and envelopes, plus a DVD of Alzheimer's celebrity Champions speaking out on why this cause is so important.
