VolunteerIf you're unable to participate in the actual walk, there are still plenty of ways you can get involved to move the cause forward. Contact your local chapter to find out how you can help. Team captains – You don't have to walk to be a team captain! As a captain, your big job is rallying walkers and motivating them to raise funds and awareness for our cause. Learn more about starting and leading a team here. Event planning – Enjoy details? Help your local Alzheimer's Association coordinate the actual walk and help with tasks like securing a location, planning activities for before and after the walk and being on-hand to cheer walkers on! Local event committee – There are plenty of responsibilities – before and on the day of Memory Walk – that need dedicated volunteers. |
