This program meets the training requirements for the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). It may also fulfill certain state training requirements.

The Dementia Care Navigation Training Series curriculum follows evidence-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations developed by the Alzheimer's Association. The program will guide you through the core competencies of dementia care navigation:

Purchase dementia care navigation training and certification
The Dementia Care Navigation Training Series costs $249.99 per person. The series includes 11 trainings and the essentiALZ certification exam for dementia care navigation. This training program is not designed for group learning and is intended for learners 18 years of age or older. Organizations can receive a discount for 100 or more learners. Get certified and claim continuing education (CE) credit — at no extra cost
Professionals who complete the certification exam for dementia care navigation can claim continuing nursing or social work education credits at no additional cost. Continuing education credits are jointly provided by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and the Alzheimer’s Association.
