Memory Walk
Memory Walk is the single largest fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association, both locally and nationally. The New Mexico Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association offers educational programs and trainings around the state, caregiver respite assistance program, a free quarterly newsletter, and a toll free helpline. In addition, the association assists with registration in the Safe Return Program for patients who wander, act as a legislative advocacy body for patient rights, and maintains a network of more than 40 support groups statewide. All of these services are provided confidentially and free of charge.

Memory Walk is the nation's premier fundraiser to help those battling Alzheimer's disease. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $200 million for programs and services for individuals with Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers. Forming a team for the Memory Walk can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer's. Together, as a team, you are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporations who sponsor the Albuquerque Memory Walk receive a number of great benefits. The most important direct benefit is public exposure and the opportunity to market directly to your target audience. Through your sponsorship, you will receive benefits such as: name/logo placement on official t-shirts, posters, and registration brochures, recognition on the day of the walk through announcements, signs, and programs, and mention in our quarterly newsletter. In addition, major sponsors are invited to set up informational booths at the walk site to distribute marketing materials and logos will be placed on all promotional and advertising materials and information distributed in conjunction with the walk. Fundraising tools

There are several fundraising activities that the New Mexico Alzheimer's Association hosts. Several of these activities are held year round, while some are annual events. It is the funding that the Association receives throughout the year is what funds the New Mexico office. Without funding, the resources that many take advantage of, would not be possible.
