Yesterday, President Bush vetoed a bill that included $30 billion for the National Institutes of Health, which would bring a $16 million increase for Alzheimer research.
The U.S. House of Representatives will attempt to override the President’s veto this Thursday. If the veto override fails, we will lose the $16 million for Alzheimer research.
Please call your U.S. Representative today and urge them to override the veto.
