Asanas to End Alz: A special Longest Day promotion

Do you love yoga and want to end Alzheimer's? The Longest Day fundraiser invites you to do an activity you love to raise funds and awareness while supporting affected families and seeking a cure. Asanas to End Alz calls on yoga lovers in New York State to get involved. The yoga studio in New York State that raises the most money will win a weekend yoga retreat in October with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman. All yogis who raise at least $2,000 will be entered into a drawing for a second Omega yoga retreat.
Here's how it works:
1. Go to alz.org/tld to start a team for your yoga studio.
** IMPORTANT: To qualify to win, you must use a special naming convention for your team: "Name of Team - Yoga"
Teams that do not include "- Yoga" after their name will not be eligible to win. **
2. Recruit instructors and students at your studio to help your team raise the most money.
3. Create fundraisers. These can be suggested donations for regularly-scheduled yoga classes or other special events
4. Spread the word about the promotion using social media. Post photos from your fundraisers on Facebook with the hashtag #AsanastoEndAlz
5. Winners will be announced on Aug. 31.
