Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Managing Daily Life through Meaningful Activities

An innovative and interactive education program designed to help you:

  • Discover how everyday tasks and activities can engage - and create a calm environment for - the person with dementia.
  • Understand the principles around "contented involvement."
  • Learn how to modify activities and activities to better meet the needs of the person with dementia.
  • Practice identifying appropriate activities for persons in all stages of dementia.

Open to dementia care providers:

Caregivers • Family and friends • Health care and senior care professionals

Continuing education units for designated professionals:
