We offer several educational programs for families and individuals facing Alzheimer’s, as well as for community members. Most of these programs, described below, are free of charge.  In addition to the program titles below, we can work in partnership with you to tailor a presentation for your church, business, or other community group. Some of the programs we can offer include "An Overview of Dementia" and "When is Memory Loss Serious." Please contact the office nearest you to schedule a presentation.

Annual Educational Symposia

Each year, the Alzheimer's Association - South Carolina Chapter sponsors several educational conferences.  These conferences feature opportunities for professionals in the senior care industry to obtain continuing educational units while refreshing and upgrading their skill working with dementia clients.  Family caregivers also benefit from educational opportunities, and no-cost in-home care can be obtained through the chapter to attend.  For more information on obtaining a sitter for your loved one so that you can attend one of our educational conferences, call the Alzheimer's office nearest you.
