We have many support groups, at various times and locations. If you don't see a group in your area, call our main office for more information (800.273.2555).
Please CALL to verify meeting info. Support Groups are free and open to the public—all family members and friends are invited to attend.
FREE CARE IS AVAILABLE: if an in-home care sitter is needed during the support group meeting, call an area chapter office to pre-arrange ahead of time. A respite application will need to be completed.

If you have Alzheimer's
Early Stage Dementia Support Groups are designed for those in the Early Stages of Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia to participate concurrently with their care partners. If you do not see a group listed in your area, please let us know you are interested by calling the office nearest you.
- The Early Stage Dementia Support group in the Greenville area will begin a new session soon. Please call Marjorie George at 1-866-844-0995 for more information.
- There is a group serving Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Call Gail Marion at 1-800-273-2555 to schedule interviews for the group.
- There is also an continuous Early Stage Group that meets twice a month in Spartanburg. Call Joyce Finkle at 1-800-908-9690 for more information.
- A group is meeting in Rock Hill on the last Tuesday of each month, 3-4 PM. Please call Sarah Bost for more details: 803-327-4715.
- There is an early stage group serving the Midlands area. It meets at 6:00pm at the Morrill Alternative in Lexington. For more information call the Morrill Alternative at 803-957-3116 or the Midlands Area Office at 803-791-3430.
- There is also an early stage group meeting in Charleston. Please call Fran Emerson at 1-800-860-1444 for information.
