Early Stage Support Groups

Early Stage Support Groups are groups created for both the Patient in the Early Stages of Alzheimer’s disease, or those with MCI, and their caregivers. Groups are given at the same time and location with two different facilitators. Please note that these groups require screening prior to attending.

*Note that these support groups are all sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. For information on additional community support groups offered by other organizations, please visit www.communityresourcefinder.org


BROWARD COUNTY
Broward Health North, Neuro Resource Center
201 E. Sample Road; Deerfield Beach, FL  33064
2nd and 4th Friday of each month, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Facilitators: Chris Dragomer, MSW and Jean Merget, BSW
Early Stage Group – Congruent Patient and Caregiver Sessions

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

4th Wednesday of each month, 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

1st Wednesdays are support meetings and 3rd Wednesdays are social outings.

*Brain Matters, Delray Beach, FL  33445
2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Facilitators:  Dr. Evelyn Bohm and Tequesta Alston

2nd  Wednesdays are support meetings and 3rd Wednesdays are social outings
