We hold several special events each year to support the Alzheimer's Association's programs and services. You are invited to join us!

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month    
An opportunity to hold a conversation about the brain and share the fact that Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are a major public health problem. Everyone who has a brain is at risk to develop Alzheimer's, the only leading cause of death that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. During the month of June, the Alzheimer's Association asks people around the world to wear Purple and use their brains to fight Alzheimer's disease. Whether you support us on the day of your choice in June, or focus your efforts during our one-day push on Friday, June 19th, we welcome your participation! Here's how to get involved:

Mardi Gras Gala 
The Milwaukee Art Museum is the place to be on Fat Tuesday as the Alzheimer’s Association hosts the best party in town - the Mardi Gras Gala!  French Quarter inspired food, lively entertainment, incredible auction packages and a delectable Mardi Gras Martinis await you! To ensure you are on the mailing list or to reserve your tickets, please contact Special Events Manager, Rebecca Peterson (rpeterson@alz.org).
 
Walk to End Alzheimer's
Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Alzheimer's disease is the nation's sixth leading cause of death. An opportunity to hold a conversation about the brain and share the fact that Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are a major public health problem. A third party event is a fundraiser held by community members who wish to raise funds and public awareness about Alzheimer's disease.
