2nd Annual "Golf to End Alzheimer's" Charity Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual “Golf To End Alzheimer’s” Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Braemar Country Club, in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains of Tarzana Ca., with breathtaking views of the course and surrounding valley area.
The event will be an 18-hole “Scramble” tournament with a shotgun start at 11am, and will feature a continental breakfast and putting contest after registration prior to start of tournament, a BBQ lunch set-up in the middle of the golf course, and a full-course dinner with awards, auction and raffle prize ceremony following the tournament!! The cost is $200 per player ($150 per player if you register by April 30th) which includes a golf cart and all meals - but come prepared to get in on additional prizes for contests during the game and auction items & raffle prizes after. And if you wish to come for the dinner & post tournament festivities only, the cost is $100/person
This is a very fun all-day event, and all proceeds go to The Alzheimer’s Association. Blondes vs Brunettes, Los Angeles
Blondes win... first time
On Saturday, May 30 the Alzheimer’s Association, California Southland Chapter held the Blondes vs. Brunettes Powder Puff Football Game at Hollywood High School. After three years of defeat the blondes won twelve to eight! With 49 players on the field (each of whom had raised a minimum of $350), 9 coaches, over 30 #1 Fans (helping with fundraising), and the most people ever in the bleachers cheering on the teams, $60,000 has been raised to date. An Unforgettable Evening
Over half million dollars raised from An Unforgettable Evening
On May 3, the Alzheimer’s Association, California Southland Chapter held its fourth annual An Unforgettable Evening. The event raised over $500,000 for the Disney Family Fund. Held on the grounds of a beautiful, historic Santa Monica estate, the elegant garden party featured a performance by nine-time Grammy Award winning singer, Natalie Cole, who performed a touching duet, “Unforgettable” with her father, Nat King Cole via the magic of video.
