Memories in the Making (MIM) is a creative art program, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association, WNY Chapter, for individuals in early or middle stages of Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.  Through their art, participants are able to express with drawing, painting and colors what they may not be able to express with words.
On February 19th, 2010, the Annual Memories in the Making Art Auction and Reception to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, WNY Chapter will be held from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Asbury Hall at Babeville (341 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo).

The 2010 event will feature

§         A silent auction featuring 37 framed MIM paintings
§
A live auction conducted by Stephen Phillips from The Lodge of five framed MIM paintings, each being paired with a complimenting piece of art produced by a community artisan
§
Kevin McCue as the Master of Ceremonies
§         Fabulous appetizers, wine and other beverages
§        Door prizes and art raffles

Tickets will be sold for $50 per person or $90 for two people and can be purchased by calling the Chapter at 716.626.0600 or 800.272.3900.  The event sold out in 2009, so call today to reserve your tickets.

Special thanks to Leslie Drdul and the Memories in the Making Committee who planned the event.  Your dedication to the cause is remarkable.
