Our goals are huge, because the need is enormous!  We provide vital programs, including education, care consultations and support groups across eight Western New York counties for the 220,000 people who are currently directly impacted by dementia. That number is expected to continue to grow, tripling over the next few decades! Your donations also allow the Alzheimer's Association to continue to be the largest funder of research aimed at ENDING this disease.

In 2015, we're aiming to raise $574,500 through the participation of close to 6,000 WNYers--please count yourself among them!

Here's our schedule for Fall 2015:

We've set aside the longest day of the year, June 21, to honor the strength of all those facing Alzheimer's with a fundraising and awareness event you can organize with friends and families. From sunrise to sunset, you are encouraged to do something you love--gardening, walking, reading, cooking, biking, hiking, etc--to honor someone you love! You can organize your event like a relay and 'hand off' the challenge very hour, or every few hours, or however you want to handle it.  This year, The Longest Day also falls on Father's Day--what a great way to honor your dad by taking part in his favorite activity with him or in his memory!

Young professional women from our community will be hitting the football field in August for a flag flootball game that aims to raise funds and awareness of Alzheimer's disease and the Alzheimer's Association WNY Chapter. There are so many ways to get involved with BvB and their event - volunteer, play, coach, cheer from the sidelines! Find out more at or follow the teams on Facebook -
