Support Groups in WNY
Text Size controlsNormal font sizeMedium font sizeLarge font size

We have about 30 different support groups, which meet at various times and locations, throughout our
Western New York service area (which includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans
and Wyoming counties). Caregiver support groups provide caregivers with an opportunity to share stories, information
and resources with each other in a confidential environment. There is no minimum attendance requirement, so feel free to come just once to check it out, or every single time the group meets.
If you have any questions regarding support groups, call us at 1.800.272.3900.

Support Group Calendar (hosted in Google - To view all the locations and their addresses, click on "agenda" from the calender and then on the location you are interested in.)

To view a printable PDF listing of all support groups, CLICK HERE. (Updated December 2014)

Please be sure to contact the Alzheimer's Association, WNY Chapter at 1.800.272.3900 prior to attending your first support group as locations and times can change frequently.

Grief Group
Every year, we offer a special six-week Coping with the Loss of a Loved One support group. This specialized Alzheimer’s Association support group focuses on the changes that individuals experience after the death of a loved one, helps to foster positive memories and provides an atmosphere of mutual support, understanding and confidentiality.
For more information about this group, please call 1.800.272.3900 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
