About Us

The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Our mission

To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Our vision

A world without Alzheimer's disease.

What we do

Today, there are more than 5 million Americans who have Alzheimer's disease. As the prevalence of Alzheimer's continues to grow, the Alzheimer's Association will be there:

  • fighting to prevent and cure this mind-robbing disease through our research and advocacy efforts
  • supporting the growing needs of those affected by Alzheimer's through our quality care and support services
  • raising public awareness to make Alzheimer's disease a national priority
