Welcome to our online Tribute Wall offering individuals and families a way to honor and remember those whose lives have been changed forever by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. This page is yours. We want you to have the opportunity to share a photograph and message about your loved one.

Through this new online collection of photos, we hope to shine a light on the thousands of people in our area with Alzheimer's as well as those who have lost the battle. If you would like to share a message and a photo, please send your photo and short message (two or three sentences) via email to blanz@alz.org, or mail your photo and message to Alzheimer's Association, Barbara Lanz-Mateo, 1528 Chapala Street #204, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. If you would like your photo returned, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your submission.

There is no charge to participate on this page, but you can make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one here.

Eleusa Galvo Fonseca
A beloved wife and adored mother of two, Eleusa generously extended her motherly affection to her daughters-in-law. This lovely woman has supported us all in times of sorrow, encouraged us in our endeavors and celebrated our achievements. Now that she is living with Alzheimer's, we make certain the unconditional love she always showed us is reflected right back onto her. --Luciana Cramer

Marie Pearson
Marie is a mother of four, grandmother to eight and has numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She spent her life with Donald Pearson growing corn and soy beans on a family farm in Illinois. She is now living with Alzheimer's but is still a lover of family and animals. She loved to feed the birds, adopted many stray cats, grew apples on the "back 40," and made the best angel food cake in the world. Thank you Grandma for everything you did for our family.  --Donna Beal
