Due to concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19), all external events scheduled at the Connecticut State Capitol have been cancelled, which includes our State Advocacy Day planned for Wednesday March 11th.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to rescheduling this event and reaching out to you with future opportunities to share your story to make an impact.  

Tentative Schedule: 
9:00 am: Registration and Breakfast
9:30 am: Morning Program - Update on the Connecticut Alzheimer's State Plan 
10:30 am - 12:30 pm: Visits with Legislators and staff

Join us to:
  • Advocate for early detection and timely diagnosis
  • Meet with state legislators and staff
  • Tell your story and speak for 78,000 Connecticut residents impacted by dementia

No experience necessary. Volunteers work in teams and training is provided.

Transportation to this event will be provided from our Southington office. Please indicate whether you will be taking the bus with us when you register!
