For 7 years, Bok Tower Gardens has sponsored our Annual Caregiver's Day Out a special relaxing and nature get-away for persons and families living with Alzheimer’s disease or other related disorders.
This past February, participants of the the Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver’s Day Out at Bok Tower Gardens enjoyed scheduled guided garden tours of the beautiful gardens visiting the crown jewel of the gardens, the Singing Tower.
A carillon concert by Geert D’hollander and a Lunch & Learn: "Growing with Hydroponics" where Horticulture experts at UF/IFAS Extension taught about how to use different hydroponic systems to grow plants in the backyard. In addition, like every other year, attendees received a special annual pass for them and a loved one so that they can continue to enjoy the serenity of the Gardens all year long.
