Under the direction of the Finance Region Director, the Accounting Managers will manage the day-to-day accounting functions of the Alzheimer’s Association of the Greater Indiana and Greater Kentucky chapters. A major emphasis of this position is to maintain accounting systems to track and allocate expenditures to Federal grants, fulfilling pre and post grant reporting requirements and to manage governmental fiscal audits and renewals.
This position provides leadership and strategic direction for implementation, growth and quality of Alzheimer's Association programs and services in the chapter territory. Measureable outcomes are increased utilization of Care & Support services and engagement with key decision makers in the community for greater reach, with an emphasis on volunteer delivery of programs, increased partnerships with healthcare systems and long term care communities, diverse communities, and consistently high quality delivery of service.
This position is responsible for implementing the chapter’s volunteer-powered program delivery strategy, engaging with organizations to encourage community mobilization and supporting the chapter’s health systems initiatives. Based in Merrillville, this position requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory in Northwest Indiana.
