University of Kansas School of Social Welfare recently announced the 2018-2019 Margo Awards! The Margo Awards are named for Margaret Schutz Gordon, Professor Emeritus who served with distinction as Professor and Director of Field Education at KU School of Social Work from 1970 to 1983. The Alzheimer's Association - Heart of America Chapter staff is SO PROUD of Karen Clond, Staff Dementia Care Specialist (right in the photo), who was given the "Excellence in Field Instruction" Margo Award.
