The Mission of the Alzheimer's Association Young Ambassadors is to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and all other dementia across generations, and to take action by providing support, fundraising, education, volunteers and advocacy. Young Ambassadors are emerging leaders who have a desire to live in a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

Financial requirements:

Goals:

1.  AWARENESS
a) Promote and raise awareness of Alzheimer's and other dementia among peers, family and friends

2.  SUPPORT
a) Serve as a support system for young adults and promote the programs and support system that is accessible through the Alzheimer's Association

3.  FUNDRAISE
a) Create a Young Ambassadors Walk to End Alzheimer's Team
b) Create a Longest Day event
c) Support RivALZ

4.  EDUCATION
a) Create opportunities to share knowledge of Alzheimer's and other dementia to fellow Young Ambassadors and to the community.

5.  VOLUNTEERS
a) Develop and implement 2 to 4 annual group volunteer opportunities

6.  ADVOCACY
a) Participate in advocacy efforts, such as attending State Advocacy Day or making calls to legislators to support Alzheimer's and dementia-related bills
