Think Tank Meeting
Experts in the field of dementia care and support met for a 2-day, in-person meeting to determine the most effective way for the LINC-AD consortium to approach the project aims and finalize a framework to evaluate existing Care and Support research measures and identify gaps. A white paper will be developed.
Call for Papers for Special Issue
Papers are being solicited that critically evaluate existing measures in four areas of the 2018 Dementia Care Practice Recommendations and make recommendations regarding measurement gaps in that area. Along with other papers, they will constitute a peer-reviewed special issue of the Alzheimer’s Association online journal, Alzheimer's & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Interventions. Year One Webinar: Goal Attainment
June 4, 2020
LINC-AD will offer yearly webinars for the larger psychosocial research community. The first webinar taking place on June 4, 2020 will focus on the topic of goal attainment theory with a presentation by Dr. Lee Jennings from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Care and Support Advisory Committee Call
The call will provide an orientation to the Care and Support Advisory Committee to the overall aims of the LINC-AD effort and to seek their input. The Advisory Committee meets by phone twice a year.
Research Steering Committee Call
This call will update members on progress and activities and gain feedback on next steps. The Research Steering Committee meets by phone twice a year.

This Consensus Building meeting, by invitation only, will bring together members of the Steering Committee with the larger research community, to discuss activities towards priority areas and build consensus for next steps.
