Jay Allen dedicates his time and voice for the fight against Alzheimer’s in honor of his mom, Sherry, who passed away in 2019. He travels across the country performing at events and sharing his story to raise awareness and spark conversations about the cause.

Event Description:
The dementia journey can be challenging and confusing, not only for the person living with it, but also for the caregiver.  This conference will help you - the caregiver - navigate the journey guided by the latest information on research, treatment, behaviors, financial planning, best care practices and much more.  You are not alone in this journey.  As innovations in dementia care and science continue to emerge, we are all on our way to "A Better Tomorrow."

About the event:
The Alzheimer’s Association’s 16th Annual NM Caregiver Conference was presented as a user-friendly virtual event on November 6th and 7th, 2020. 


This new virtual platform was designed to educate, inform and uplift the caregiver and improve the caregiving experience - so that caregivers could attend from the safety and comfort of their own home.

Separate tracks provided for Professional Caregivers (November 6th) and Family Caregivers (November 7th).  

Presentation Highlight:

Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor of the State of New Mexico, addressed participants on vital issues that caregivers across the state are facing.
