Jan - June 2018 Listing - Skills for Dementia Caregiving (aka The Savvy Caregiver)

This multi-session educational program  is for families and caregivers of those with memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The Skills for Dementia Caregiving course meets once a week for 6-7 consecutive weeks. Each class is two hours in length. Class size is limited to 15 participants. Our single-session Education Programs are designed primarily for non-professional or family caregivers who are seeking helpful knowledge and care management skills so that they might better understand how to care for their loved-ones. From "The Basics of Alzheimer's Disease" to "Know the 10 Warning Signs" to "Legal Issues for Caregivers" (and many more), each provides an opportunity to improve one's knowledge base and skill level; and also learn about support resources available in the area.
