The Longest Day
Text Size controlsNormal font sizeMedium font sizeLarge font size

For an individual with Alzheimer's and their caregiver, every day is The Longest Day. The Alzheimer's Association has created a fundraising event that both symbolizes the daily challenges of Alzheimer's and honors those who battle these challenges daily.

The Longest Day events will be celebrated on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, Thursday, June 21, 2018. Longest Day teams can raise funds in the days and months prior to June 21.

Longest Day Teams:

  • Choose an activity you love: bowling, softball, bridge, dancing, boating, hiking, baking, sewing, etc.
  • Choose a day or series of days to do the activity.
  • Encourage your friends, family & co-workers to join you in an activity or make a donation to your Longest Day Team.
  • Celebrate your love and fundraising efforts on The Longest Day, June 21.

Some teams host a Jeans Day at work. Others try a sport or hobby from sunrise to sunset! Each team raises money and awareness for The Longest Day and do so in honor of all those experiencing the longest day - every day.
