In New York, more than 426,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s. 543,000 caregivers dedicate 879 million hours of unpaid care. Serving the cities of Corning, Geneva, Elmira and Rochester, and their surrounding counties, the Alzheimer’s Association Rochester Finger Lakes Region Chapter is here to help.
We provide education programs, support groups and other resources to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. We are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and all other dementia, and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
