AAIC® Satellite Symposium | May 14-15, 2025 | Lima, Peru, and Online
AAIC Satellite Symposium brought together the Latin American dementia research, care and public health community to discuss emerging trends, tackle challenges and foster innovation within the region.
The Lima symposium was the tenth event in this series of regional meetings that take key elements of the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference® (AAIC) around the globe. AAIC Satellite Symposia recognize that the unique characteristics of individual countries demand country- and culturally-specific plans to address the burden of dementia and gaps in research. By broadly sharing locally conducted research and statistics, the international research community can work together and find commonalities.
This meeting was hosted in collaboration with the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health.
