Eighteenth Annual AWARE Luncheon

Thursday, November 16, 2017
River Oaks Country Club
11:30 AM

In 2000, a dedicated group of volunteers created the Alzheimer’s Women’s Auxiliary for Resources and Education (AWARE) to provide leadership and support to the Alzheimer’s Association Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter.  In the past 17 years, AWARE has raised more than $3.7 million at its annual luncheon. We are humbled to chair this year’s luncheon in honor of Phyllis’s 90 year-old mother who is afflicted with this hideous disease and all of the families who are affected by Alzheimer’s.

We hope you will be able to join us in supporting the fight against Alzheimer’s by purchasing a ticket or table for the Eighteenth Annual AWARE Luncheon on
Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the River Oaks Country Club. By sponsoring the AWARE luncheon, you will provide critical education, outreach and services for local families living with dementia, as well as fund vital research.

We are proud to honor Reverend Bill Lawson and family, whose family has been deeply touched by Alzheimer’s disease. This year’s Luncheon speaker will be Melanie Lawson, award-winning KTRK Channel 13 anchor. We are also thrilled to be presenting River Oaks Garden Club with an Outstanding Community Partner Award to honor their substantial contributions to the Association’s Memory Garden.

To support the cause, please return your commitment form by September 15th to be included on the invitation. Most importantly, your impactful support will bring us one step closer to achieving the Association’s vision: a world without Alzheimer’s®. For more information, please call or email Kerry Quinn at: 713-314-1337 or kequinn@alz.org.
