A Strong Partnership

The Alzheimer's Association is here to work together with medical professionals to ensure that individuals receive the appropriate care and resources to improve their quality of life. Together we provide a holistic approach to patient care.

A System That Works

Sadly, when physicians simply suggest that patients call the Alzheimer's Association, there can be a long lag time that can lead to avoidable crisis for the family. A study by the Benjamin Rose Institute identified an average of 29 months before patients called.

Alternatively, when an HIPAA compliant fax referral form is used, the Alzheimer's Association is able to pro-actively contact the patient or caregiver to improve outcomes. A similar study using a Fax Referral System found that services began within 3 months for 58% of participants, with 90% served within 12 months.
