    Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's Events and Participants in Texas Recognized as Top in the Nation

    DALLAS (February 4, 2025) – The Alzheimer’s Association recently announced the rankings of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® events throughout the country and Texas saw three local Walk to End Alzheimer’s honored as a Top 30 Walk. San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston were ranked #29, #28, and #13 respectively with Houston additionally recognized as raising over $1 million. The money raised by this landmark event will fund Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs.

    Additionally, several teams and individuals in the state were recognized as top performers. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s teams throughout the state would like to thank the following teams and walkers:

    In 2023, more than 350,000 individuals participated in more than 600 Walks across the country, raising more than $100 million. Together, the top 30 Walks contributed nearly $29 million to the overall total raised.
