The Alzheimer’s Association Dallas & Northeast Texas Chapter Welcomes Tracy Denton as Regional Vice President for Texas and Executive Director for Local Chapter

DALLAS (March 12, 2025) The Alzheimer’s Association Dallas & Northeast Texas Chapter is thrilled to welcome Tracy Denton as Regional Vice President for Texas and as Executive Director for the local chapter.

As Executive Director for the Dallas & Northeast Texas chapter, Denton is responsible for the overall strategic and operational functions for the chapter, including program delivery, fundraising, community engagement, government and private grant funding, media relations and growth and delivery of the Association’s mission. She also serves as Region Vice President for Texas, overseeing six chapters across the state and providing support and guidance to the work of the local chapter executives.

Denton joins the Alzheimer’s Association from the Muscular Dystrophy Association where she led their fundraising operations and community relations for 25 years. She consistently increased revenue and strengthened personal and corporate partnerships, including her significant role in growing the relationship with the International Association of Firefighters. As part of that partnership, Tracy implemented a strategy that generated over $20 million through MDA’s Fill the Boot Program.

“There are more than 459,000 individuals in Texas living with Alzheimer’s, and more than 1 million caregivers in the state, and the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association is deeply personal for me. I am honored to be working with the teams in Texas and to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia,” said Denton.
