The Brain and Heart Connection
Discuss the brain and heart connection in this special Stroke Awareness Month program. Guest speaker Dr. Paul Wright, Senior Vice President Systems Chair Neuroscience Institute at Nuvance Health, will share his expertise in cerebrovascular disease, stroke management, and medical innovation. The bimonthly Caregiver Café offers resources and the opportunity to connect with others, share tips on managing stress, and learn about dementia and Alzheimer's. This program provided by a grant from the NYS Department of Health, OFA, CCE/Caregiver Resource Center Program and the Alzheimer's Association. The Caregiver Resource Center is a co‐partnered program between Cornell Cooperative Extension and Office for the Aging of Sullivan County and is supported by a grant from the NYS Office for the Aging’s Caregiver Program. Empowered Caregiver Series
This education series teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone with dementia.
