    Advancing the Science: The Latest in Alzheimer's and dementia Research Joined by Francesca Farina discussing the PERI-MIND intervention project. 

    Which aims to reduce anxiety related to cognitive concerns and promote health behaviors in perimenopausal women (and non-binary individuals) with elevated dementia risk.

    Bio
    Francesca Farina is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and a Senior Fellow with the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin. She holds a BA in Psychology and a PhD in Neuroscience from the National University of Ireland. Dr Farina's research focuses on identifying and addressing modifiable factors that affect the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease (AD), particularly early detection of risk and resilience factors. She also has a strong interest in sex and gender issues in AD. She works with patient advocacy groups to promote brain health across the life course.
