Alzheimer’s remains one of the leading causes of death in our country and Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are facing very unique challenges and health disparities in terms of brain health and dementia care. Meanwhile, research shows that healthy behaviors may reduce the risk of cognitive decline and help reduce the risk of dementia.

Partnering with the San Francisco Senior Center – Downtown, the Alzheimer’s Association offers this in-person forum in the center of San Francisco. It will provide AAPI seniors and all other community members with “10 Healthy Habits for Your Brain”, “Dementia Research and Treatment Updates”, and a caregiver’s personal story. The Alzheimer’s Association’s free resources that support AAPI and all other communities’ caregivers and persons living with dementias will also be shared.
