Early Alzheimer's Support & Education (EASE) Program

EASE is an interactive learning program for people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners. It consists of 8 consecutive weeks, followed by a 1-month wrap-up meeting. Participants will learn about Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, as well as current research and treatment plans. Other topics include legal and financial preparation, communication and compensatory strategies, learning the importance of building a support team, tips for home safety, and exploring care and support services. Separate support groups, one for those living with the disease and one for their care partner, is offered at the end of each session.
Enrollment in EASE is free, but you must be pre-screened by one of our dementia specialists before registering.
Our Spring 2025 EASE series takes place March 5 - April 23. The group will meet weekly on Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - Noon at Edward Jones, 675 Grooms Rd, Suite 206, Clifton Park, 12065. Program registration fills up quickly. Please call or email Gwen Rowland at growland@alz.org or 518-888-5846 to schedule a pre-screening.
