The Walking the Talk for Dementia (WTD) is an immersive and inclusive experience designed to discuss advances and challenges in dementia with a focus on equity and diversity. The 2023 meeting took place from April 30th to May 7th 2023 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and included the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, a scientific symposium and a documentary, as well as multiple cultural and scientific activities involving people with dementia and professionals. Funding from the Association was specific to travel fellowships for individuals from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) to attend the conference.
