    Antoine R. Trammell, M.D., MPH

    Antoine R. Trammell, M.D., MPH, is a faculty member with appointments in Emory University’s Departments of Medicine and Neurology. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and his public health degree from Emory University. After medical school, Dr. Trammell completed residency training and served as chief resident in internal medicine at Mercer University. He is a board-certified internist focusing on clinical care and clinical research for people with memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Dr. Trammell is the site PI/lead physician of the Atlanta Memory Assessment Clinic, a regional memory clinic with the Georgia Memory Net program. As a faculty member at Emory’s Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, he works with the center’s Outreach Recruitment and Engagement Core and is an investigator for multiple clinical research studies. Among his research interests are the role of vascular health, social determinants, and biological factors in cognition, brain health, and cognitive resilience with aging in diverse populations.
