In 2016, Lokai, a socially responsible lifestyle brand that represents the importance of finding balance and staying centered along life's journey, partnered with the Alzheimer's Association to create the Alzheimer's Lokai bracelet. The money raised helped to fund five research grants, and was so successful that Lokai has since created a second design, the Alzheimer's Split Lokai. Throughout 2019, Lokai will continue to donate $1 to the Alzheimer's Association for each Alzheimer's Lokai and Alzheimer's Split Lokai sold. In January 2019, Lokai announced the limited edition Hearts Lokai, in partnership with well-known street artist James Goldcrown, which will also support the Alzheimer’s Association with $1 donated per bracelet sold. 

During his freshman year in college, founder and CEO of Lokai, Steven Izen, learned that his grandfather had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Deeply affected by the news, Steven realized the importance of staying hopeful during life's lows, as well as humble through its highs. In need of a physical reminder to find balance during life's unpredictable journey, Steven created Lokai.
